“PAU JAZZ CLUB” CONCERT CYCLE

“Pelacanyes rhythm & blues band” is a quartet formed by Empordà musicians with extensive experience as members of different formations and musical styles:
ALBERT LLOVET (piano and voice)
ROGER RIPOLL (tenor saxophone)
LLUÍS RIERA (electric bass)
DAVID GÁLVEZ “ANTRAX” (drums)
In this case they come together to offer a repertoire made up of African American music that feeds on jazz, blues, soul, funk and rock’n’roll. The legacy of great masters like Ray Charles, Rusty Bryant, Lee Allen, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, King Curtis, … is revived in his performances.
