The Jazz de Pau concert series returns with established groups.
The new proposal is presented on October 15 and will take place every first Friday of the month at the Civic Center of the town.
After having to cancel the Pau Jazz Project last year due to the Covid pandemic, the concert cycle resumes reconverted into the Pau Jazz Club, a new proposal to enjoy established jazz bands and top quality, in a more familiar format.
On the first Friday of each month, part of the Peace Civic Center will become the Jazz Club from 9pm to 11pm.
The inaugural concert to present the new cycle will take place next Friday, October 15, by the jazz, funk and Latin band of Jaume Ambros – Tresnotes.
The Pau Jazz Project began in 2016 with the aim of bringing the jazz of talented musicians from the Empordà to the people around them, giving voice to the musicians of the Empordà every Friday. Now, the Pau Jazz Club will take place on the first Friday of each month, from November 5 until April 1, 2022.
Each concert of the new cycle will feature a band of jazz musicians who will offer different pieces of music for two hours.
In addition, the organization has made other changes, such as the incorporation of the dinner offer in the Civic Center of Peace itself. Thus, attendees can choose between purchasing only the Club ticket (5 euros) or the ticket with dinner included (20 euros).
