Les Muscleres

This beach with fine sand across the ruins of Empúries, is noted for the quality of its water, by having pine trees by the beach and a sand stretch that connects the beach with the rocks offshore.

There are two distinct parts of the beach, known as Muscleres Grans and Muscleres Petites. The Greek and Roman ruins add to the interest of the seabed in the area. An ideal place for snorkeling.

This beach can be reached via the footpath which runs between l’Escala and Sant Martí d’Empúries.
