Rec del Molí

A beach with fine sand. It is the first of the beaches of Empúries. It has sand dunes, rocks and lots of underwater marine life.

The beaches of Empúries are known for their pine forests and the coastal walkways that link them together, a pleasant footpath bordered by growth of local vegetation. A perfect place for walking, jogging or cycling, among other activities.

It is worth taking the alternative path that runs close to the sea and which takes you to the natural vantage point of the Coves. Resting on the benches that have been put there, and relishing the wonderful views of l’Escala is an activity that is highly recommended.
