Punta Falconera Bunkers (Roses) Four large casemates and a command or firing bunker, used to defend the northern sector of the bay of Roses, along with the lighthouse’s battery. These are underground constructions, built with reinforced concrete and covered with earth on the top. Given that it is the cannon room, the front opens up towards the sea. It is covered by a layer of stone from the area, which protects it from the impact of projectiles and camouflages it.
The bunkers are formed by an access gallery that gives it sufficient width at the end of the route to be able to build two side chambers on either side. The command building is located at the top of the complex and consists of an underground part and another part built on the surface. The complex had spaces for the troops, the guardhouse, for the infirmary, a canteen, a service building, a warehouse and a garage.
