The Port de la Selva Nautical Club is located in the bay of Port de la Selva, a picturesque fishing village in the north of Cap de Creus, in the region of Alt Empordà.
The strong northern winds shape the unique landscape of the Cap de Creus massif, characterized by its distinctive vegetation, cliffs, islets, and reefs, as well as coves and bays. Additionally, the nature of the seabed, composed of rocks and sediments, provides a wide variety of habitats for marine organisms. This diversity is reflected in an extraordinary underwater flora, with highlights such as Posidonia meadows, gorgonians, and coralligenous formations.
The Nautical Club is a modern and functional marina that holds environmental quality certifications. Thanks to its harmonious relationship with the natural surroundings, it offers clients and visitors a wide range of opportunities to practice different water sports, including swimming, sailing, diving, and more.
The Club has a Sailing School (recognized by the Catalan Sailing Federation), a Swimming School, and a Diving School (affiliated with the Catalan Federation of Underwater Activities). All three offer courses and activities for all ages.
In addition, the Club organizes and promotes a wide range of social, charitable, environmental, cultural, and recreational activities (such as day camps, yoga, aquagym, Pilates, talks, walking tours, etc.), as well as sports competitions.
Another option offered by the Club is the rental of motorboats, providing easy access to the sea. Sailing School
Discover sailing with our school recognized by the Catalan Sailing Federation. With over 50 years of experience, we offer a diverse fleet that includes Optimist, Laser Pico, RS Vision, RS Feva, Raquero, Hobie Cat, and Sprinto. With activities for children, youth, and adults (from 6 years old), we tailor the sessions according to ages and levels. Make sailing a unique experience with us.
Swimming School
Our weekly swimming courses, tailored to all ages (from 4 years old), cover levels from beginners (without floatation) to competition level. We offer 45-minute morning sessions from Monday to Friday. Scuba Diving
With our individual baptisms, you’ll immerse yourself in the fascinating experience of scuba diving. We offer personalized courses with flexible dates and schedules to adapt to your availability.
Our guided outings in small groups ensure respectful exploration, adjusting to each diver’s level. Embrace the underwater world with us.
