The current House-Museum in Portlligat (Cadaqués) was the only stable home of Salvador Dalí, where he usually lived and worked until 1982 with the death of Gala, took up residence at Púbol Castle .
In 1930 Dali settled in a small fisherman’s hut in Portlligat attracted by the landscape, the light and the isolation of the place. From this initial construction, for forty years he created his house. As he described it, was “like a true biological structure … Each new pulse in our life has its own new cell, a room”.
