Fully integrated into the urban center, it features an internationally renowned sailing school. It can accommodate boats up to 25 meters long and has a maximum depth of eight meters. Attention should be paid to the isolated danger of the Palamós ledge, half a mile south of the shelter’s lighthouse, perfectly marked.
Due to its location and weather conditions, Palamós Bay is an ideal spot for sailing, which is why it’s no surprise that the club organizes various regional and national regattas throughout the year, as well as prestigious events like the Palamós Christmas Race and the International Vila de Palamós Optimist Trophy.
