Bibendum: wine sunset in Empúries

The madness, the ecstasy, the party, the ritual… or an intimate moment when the day falls. All in a glass of wine.

We propose a trip at sunset with an ancient flavor, touring the most emblematic spaces of the Greek and Roman cities of Empúries. With the help of an archaeologist and sommelier, we will discover corners, spaces and stories about the origin of wine culture in the Mediterranean. The explanations will be combined with three tastings of DO Empordà wines with a Greco-Roman soul.

During the visit we will enjoy historical reconstructions with characters such as the God Baccus and the bacchanal Numeria or the slaves Gala and Flacus among others.
