With this guided route we will get to know the northeastern sector of the Jonquera area. We will pass briefly through the Estanys, we will climb to Requesens and from there we will see the remains of the plane that crashed in the fire of 1986. Then, we will go down to the hermitage of Sant Pere del Pla de l’Arca , we will continue to Pertús and from here we will go up to the Castle of Bellaguarda and Panissars, from where we will start the return to La Jonquera. This route will allow us to discover the variety of vegetation in Albera, from the lowest part of Les Estanys to above Requesens, where we will find cork oaks, beech forests and maquis.
