Routes of Exile Post-war bunkers in La Jonquera
The fortifications of Franco: the bunkers of the Jonquera (1943)
After a visit to the Exile Memorial Museum, we will discover and enter some of the more than 30 bunkers in La Jonquera: constructions and military works hidden among the landscape. Settlements of machine guns and anti-tank guns prepared to curb a possible external military invasion during the 1940s.
Meeting point: Exile Memorial Museum, La Jonquera.
To consider: The planned schedule of activities is half day (10am to 2pm).
Pre-registration is required and the activity is subject to a minimum number of registrants.
The trips are made in the participant’s own transport and lunch is not included.
