World Food Day: Open Doors at the Old Flour Factory

What We Do?

On October 16, World Food Day is celebrated, promoted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), with this year’s theme being “Grow, Nourish, Sustain. Together.” At the museum, we celebrate this on Tuesday.

It’s important to be aware that the food system (food production, transportation, waste generation, food choices, food wastage, etc.) has a significant impact on the planet and the people who inhabit it. With small gestures that can easily be incorporated into our daily diet, we can contribute to creating a healthier and more just world, where we can live in harmony, more sustainably with other humans, all living beings, and the environment. We all have an important role to play in this.
