This natural place is located on the southern slope of the Albera massif and is made up of two well-differentiated areas: the western one, in the Requesens-Baussitges sector with Central European vegetation, with beeches and moist oaks; and the eastern, more Mediterranean, with vegetation of cork oaks and shrubs where the last populations of Mediterranean turtle subsist.
