Discover the Charm of Marzà’s Wall
The Marzà wall, possibly dating back to the 13th-14th centuries, reveals its traces in the heart of Marzà’s urban nucleus. One of the most prominent features is a circular tower at the southern end, with an impressive embankment at the base. With its structure resembling an albarrana tower, this construction is part of the external fortifications of the castle. Surrounding the tower, there are stretches of wall, also with prominent embankments, built with carefully aligned large hewn stones and small loopholes made of tiles. Each stone tells a story of the past, and exploring these remnants offers a fascinating glimpse into the history of the region.
