This is an itinerary of approximately 3 hours. The level of difficulty is medium due to the unevenness of the terrain through which it passes.
We start the journey following the path to Sant Onofre and the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes.
For a stretch we will continue along the stream, which we will not lose sight of, and then cross it under the imposing presence of chestnut trees. Once crossed the stream we will walk along a narrow path that finally leads to the area of the old orchards of the hermitage.
We are already in Sant Onofre and we will take the opportunity to cool off with the spring water and contemplate the landscape. To continue to Mas Ventós, we only have to follow the forest track. Once at Mas Ventós, the route takes us to the drinking trough located on the south side of the farmhouse.
From here begins the descent to Palau along the path called “del mas Ventós”, an old road. This path from Mas Ventós allows you to visit the dolmen of the mountain of Caselles, the dolmen of La Sureda and the cista de la Sureda. You arrive at Palau through the place called “La Ciutat”.
