Castelló d’Empúries Empuriabrava

Until well past the Middle Ages, the town was the capital of the county of Empúries. The remains of this glorious past are reflected in its monuments and, above all, in the Gothic Basilica of Santa Maria, better known as “The Cathedral of the Empordà”. The heritage and social activity of its inhabitants and entities culminate in the celebration of the Medieval Festival Terra de Trobadors (every second weekend in September) and the ART Route (every second weekend in October).

Empuriabrava is the exclusive residential marina in the municipality of Castelló d’Empúries. Located on the shores of the Bay of Roses and located in the heart of the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park, it is one of the most beautiful marinas in the world. Genuine in design and unique in Europe, it has more than 25 kms. of navigable canals, thus becoming the dream of any lover of the sea and water sports. The marina has more than 5,000 moorings, most of them with direct access to the residences and the most protected port on the entire Mediterranean coast.
