The Hugas de Batlle family has been connected to Colera for over a hundred years, but it’s Eduard who feels a genuine passion for the vineyard. Shared moments in the field with his grandfather Alfons de Batlle, working and caring for the vines, have guided him, and in his adulthood, awakened in him the need to turn this passion into a business venture.
In 2002, driven by love and respect for the land of Colera and its valley, the family joins forces and decides to pay homage to the old vines located on hillsides and terraces. Practicing a modern viticulture system that respects the environment and traditions, they aim to create wines with a lot of personality, great concentration, and balanced acidity.
