Suquet de Peix de Roses 2022

The restaurants participating in the “Suquet de Peix de Roses” campaign present several ways of cooking this tasty fisherman’s dish. Traditionally the fishermen of Roses cooked “Suquet de Peix”. A dish as simple as boiling freshly caught fish with potatoes has undergone an important evolution and, over time, this recipe has been enriched with the incorporation of typically Mediterranean products.

The Mediterranean character of Roses is also evident in the products of the land, such as wine. The DO Empordà Wine Route begins in Roses. This road constitutes the first wine axis of the Empordà. An essential reference route to discover and get to know the wineries, landscapes and wines of the DO that retraces the area with the highest density of vineyards and winemaking wineries that can be visited and have wine tasting activities.
