We invite you to a unique journey through time and nature, as we enjoy the magic of the sunset and the delicious flavors of local products at our exciting Hiking Festival in Empordà. This exceptional experience awaits you with fascinating trails and panoramic views that will enchant you from the first step to the final tasting.
We will begin our adventure at the mysterious Dolmen of Cap de l’Home, a place steeped in history and legends. From here, the spectacular views of Empordà will serve as the backdrop as we head towards the Dolmen of Llit de la Generala. Taking the picturesque trail, passing ancient walls and rustic huts, we will reach the Puig Marés Waterfall, a geological spectacle that will captivate us with its slate and quartzite formations.
It is in this magical moment, as the sun sets on the horizon, that we will indulge in an exquisite tasting of local products. A relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by nature and the tranquility of the surroundings, will make this tasting an unforgettable memory. We will continue our journey, descending along the Quarantena Stream, surrounded by dolmens and rock carvings, until we reach the majestic Dolmen of Creu d’en Corbetella, the largest of its kind in Catalonia.
We will explore charming medieval structures, with opus spicatum of Casa Cremada, menhirs, and authentic dry stone walls that bear witness to the region’s past. Our journey will come to an end, but not before enjoying another exquisite tasting at Puig Marés, around 8 p.m. We will provide a DO Empordà wine from the prestigious Espelt winery and delicious anchovies from Roses, to complete this unparalleled gastronomic experience.
