Hiking Festival 2021 – La Vall de Molinàs

Walk through a medieval landscape and taste wines at the foot of the vineyard.

Circular route through the Molinàs Valley. The route passes through the village of Molinàs, climbs up to the Castle of the same name and returns to Colera following the ridge, stopping at the Coma Fredosa vineyards of the Celler Hugas de Batlle to taste the first wines, to the Coll of Sant Antoni where it goes down directly to the town. Again in Colera there is a visit and wine tasting at the Hugas de Batlle winery. The landscape that is observed along the valley is steep and rough, but also with kind corners shaped by the water and a Mediterranean vegetation with the two slopes well differentiated, sunny and shady due to the fact that it is oriented east-west.

How can you get to the starting point?
Public transport: by train, at Colera Station
Private transport: in the car park of the cholera station

Who is it for? Expert and amateur audience. It is recommended to bring appropriate mountain footwear, walking sticks, food and water (1.5L minimum). It is a good option to carry binoculars. Route not recommended for people under 10 years old.
